We’ve known for a while that The Stone Roses have been working on new music since a fan spoke to Ian Brown outside of The Church Studios in North London where Ian Brown described the new music as ‘Glorious’.
But it has been confirmed today on the bands official twitter page that they are set to release a new single tonight at 8pm.
It’ll be the first time fans will hear new music from the Manchester band in 22 years. The band have been teasing fans around Manchester this week which various posters of lemons being dotted around the city sparking speculation of new music.
The band are set to play a series of gigs this summer including four nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester:
Manchester, Etihad Stadium (June 15, 17, 18, 19)
New York, Madison Square Garden (June 30)
T In The Park (July 8)
Dublin, Marlay Park (July 9)
